The Diet Solution - Review

Recognized and respected nutritionist, exercise and lifestyle coach, Isabel De Los Rios created The Diet Solution, but is it really so different from the host of other diet plans that are available and, more importantly, does it work?

The short answer is yes it does, but let me explain why.

No doubt you have tried other diet plans in the past; maybe you've tried a high protein diet, a carb diet or even a low calorie diet and achieved a moderate amount of success only to put all the weight back on again when it became too hard to maintain? Sound familiar? I think we've all been there. So how does The Diet Solution propose to solve this problem?

The Diet Solution is designed on the principle of metabolic typing; this simply means that dieters can be categorized into three groups, each one having its own individual diet guidelines. Luckily this is not as complicated as it sounds.

Isabel first advises all potential dieters to prepare their minds for success. This is to give you time to really decide what specific goals you want to achieve regarding your health, your weight and your life and write them down. Goal visualization is a very often overlooked part of dieting but has been proven to provide positive benefits.

Isabel explains that there are three important steps that need to be taken to get to your ideal weight:

Eat in accordance with your metabolic type
Stay within your ideal calorie range
Consume a number of high quality foods

To determine which type of dieter you are Isabel invites you to answer a number of questions, dieters are then categorized as a protein, carb or mixed type.

You are also encouraged to choose nutritious alternatives to your usual sugary snacks such as raw nuts, boiled eggs, fruit and raw vegetables.

You are also advised to limit the amount of hydrogenated fats and eliminate any foods containing them. This type of fat is commonly found in cookies, cereals, chips and margarine. But you are allowed one glass of wine (preferably red) a week on the diet but ideally you would cut this out altogether and limit yourself to only two cups of coffee a day.

One of Isabel's great recommendations is to keep a diary or journal of all the foods you eat and identify which ones fill you up and make you feel satisfied, this helps you fine tune your diet. The choice of food that will be recommended to you depends on your metabolic type, but can include organic poultry, eggs and meat, fish, raw nuts and seeds, butter (a surprise, I know!) baked sweet potatoes, olive oil, avocado, stevia and even raw chocolate!

What about exercise? This, of course, goes hand in hand with dieting and Isabel recommends that it includes cardiovascular, strength and interval training. Don't worry about the terminology, as the instantly dowloadable book provides clear instructions and photos of the exercises. The Diet Solution is also available as a deluxe version which includes extra audio downloads on planning your meals and goal setting.

The Diet Solution is an excellent product and encourages you towards long term success. the diet itself prompts you to eat highly nutritious foods and is based on the most recent scientific weight loss and nutrition information. This is an ideal diet plan to not only lose weight but also to promote a healthier lifestyle that is easy to maintain, for more information Click Here! and give it a go!
